HP ATA - Connected Devices V1 certification is offered by the HP Company (Hewlett-Packard Development Company).   • 2nd step
    In this step the candidate needs to register for this certification in the Learning Center of HP.
  • 3rd step
    In this step the candidate needs to fulfill the required prerequisites. Currently, this certification is requiring no pre-requisites.
  • 4th step
    This is the key step of the certification process. Here a candidate needs to take the required core exams.

The first core requirement is to pass the exam HP4-A01 (Designing and Deploying Connected Device Solutions). The exam duration is 60 minutes. And the question type is multiple-choice question-answers.

This exam validates the knowledge of a candidate on the contents that are included by the HP ILT course titled 'Designing and Deploying Connected Device Solutions' under course ID #00421698. This training has been recommended for each candidate. It focuses on the industry-standard & client serving technologies along with their relevant implications on the customer requirements. This topics, further includes the general technologies & products used for desktop virtualization; technologies for mobile computing & their relevant implications on the particular customer requirements; technologies for conventional PC and their relevant implications on the customer requirements; thin client-based technology & solutions; cloud technology application to meet up client solutions, etc. This course also instructs about planning and designing techniques of the client solutions targeting the SMB customers. This topic also includes issues like, consulting SMB customers to evaluate their business & technical requirements & create client solution-plans; designing the client solutions to meet the customer requirements defined in the development stage. Moreover, the candidates will learn about the installation, configuration, and up gradation of the client-based solutions for the SMB customers. This topic also emphasizes on issues, like, pre-installation checklist; configuration of the management tools & resources; set up procedure of PC (hardware), OS, mobile device, thin client, etc. Furthermore, candidates will learn about the 6-step troubleshooting method of HP; troubleshooting and repairing procedures to apply in client solutions for the SMB customers; performance management & version control issues, etc.

At the end of this roadmap a candidate will get an email within 5 days after completion of all requirements that will change his/her status to "acquired" in the HP Learning Center, Certiport & HP portals.
